City of Huntington Beach Community Services Department and Kiwanis Club purchase and pour thousands of pounds of candy for kids to hunt for. Take a picture with Easter Bunny, play at game booths, see displays from Community Services, Public Works, Fire, and Police, learn about summer camps and classes offered through Community Services, enjoy the live band, and try out some new classes. Pancake breakfast and the hot lunch made by the Huntington Beach Kiwanis Club.

Bird talk and nature walk at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. You will be led by Amigos docent and birder Greg Leo. The Bolsa Chica Wetlands provide feeding and nesting habitat for thousands of birds and is considered one of the prime birding sites in Southern California. The variety of bird species changes throughout the year as they migrate during each season.  Meet at the South Parking Lot across from the entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach. Carpooling is encouraged as parking at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is limited

Orange County’s #1 Weekly Street Fair and Certified Farmer’s Market.  Every Tuesday night Historic Main Street in downtown Huntington Beach becomes a pedestrian-only street fair for 3 blocks between Pacific Coast Highway and Orange Avenue.  The weekly event features live entertainment and family-friendly activities (live music, face painting, magicians, etc.) in addition to a fantastic Famer’s Market, unique merchant and artist vendors, and a wide selection of food and beverage stalls.  Each week free special events are offered around a monthly theme.

Considered one of the most scenic Farmer’s Markets in Southern California; held every Friday afternoon from noon until 5:00pm at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza at the intersection of Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway.  The Pier Plaza Farmer's Market Huntington Beach is a coastal food and art shopping pleasure destination for tourists and locals who seek certified farm fresh, California grown produce and unique hand-made arts and crafts.  The farmer’s market is held in conjunction with “Art A-faire” featuring over 50 vendors selling unique gifts and art pieces.

Peter’s Landing is part of Huntington Harbor and is located in the newly-incorporated area of Sunset Beach.  Being so near to the ocean and harbor, there is 2-hour “boat parking” in the Guest Docks and a marine supply store on-site.  More than 60 vendors offer fresh vegetables, fruit, plants and flowers, gourmet specialty food, and hand-made crafts.  Children will love the petting zoo, pony rides, and mini choo-choo train that travels around the shopping center’s parking lot.

The SoCo Shopping Center is located in Costa Mesa, right off the 405 Freeway between Euclid and Harbor and very close to Huntington Beach.  In addition to the medley of shops permanently situated in the SoCo Shopping Center (newly opened Surfas Culinary Supplies, the boutique stalls inside OC Mart Mix, Design Within Reach, etc.) there is a weekly Farmer’s Market and Food Truck Round-Up.  The event features a Certified Farmer’s Market with fresh, local, California-grown produce; Gourmet Food Trucks and Vendors; fresh coffee and tea sellers; Unique offerings from local merchants and artisans; Specialty Services such as Knife-Sharpening; and Live Music every Saturday from 9a-2p.
