3/1 Marines Foundation 5k Fun Run/Walk.  Runners take off from the beach parking lot at Beach Blvd/PCH and proceed North, past the Pier and back. Pancake breakfast served by HB Firefighters begins at 8:30 a.m. and is open to the public.

            The City of Huntington Beach adopted the 3rd Battalion/1st Marines in 2005. Huntington Beach 3/1 Marines Foundation was formed in 2006 to oversee all projects, programs and activities in support of the Marines, Sailors and Families of the "Thundering Third" based in Camp Pendleton. In 2012, Huntington Beach Municipal Employees Association stepped in to sponsor the 3/1 Marines.

                        Time:              8 a.m.

                        Cost:               $35 registration. 

                                                Breakfast is $5 per person, NOT included in Run registration.
